How we work

Four Principles, for Every Farmer and Every Buyer

  • 01

    Reliable Supply

We plan orders against the harvest calendar and confirm quantities and dates in writing.

  • 02

    Fair to Farmers

We treat smallholders as partners, with prices agreed up front and prompt payment.

  • 03

    Quality You Can Check

You see samples and test results before the first shipment, and every lot carries a number.

  • 04

    One Point of Contact

Each buyer has a named contact who follows the order from enquiry to delivery.

Quality and traceability

Four Checkpoints, and a Lot Number on Every Bag

No lot leaves us until it meets the specification agreed with you. Any bag can be traced back through processing and collection to the farmers who grew it.

  1. 01

    At Intake

    • Time since harvest checked
    • Roots inspected for rot, damage and soil
    • Weight and farmer recorded
  2. 02

    During Processing

    • Peeling and washing checked batch by batch
    • Drying monitored to the target moisture
    • Equipment cleaned on a set routine
  3. 03

    Before Packing

    • Each lot sampled and tested to the buyer's specification
    • Lots that fail are held back, never shipped
    • A retained sample kept for every lot
  4. 04

    Before Shipping

    • Bags, labels and weights checked
    • Container inspected clean and dry before loading
    • Test results matched to the lot

A Williot Group Company

Shipped by Williot Logistics, Our Sister Company

Freight is where many agricultural exports lose time and value. Ours stays inside the group: Williot Logistics plans, documents and moves our shipments, so production dates and sailing dates are set together.

Casav is one of six Williot Group companies, across energy, construction, engineering, property, logistics and trade. You deal with one family of companies from the farm to the port.
